ABOUT AGRIAT
Growing formulations
into fields.
Hangzhou Agriat Trading has specialised in imported speciality fertilisers since 2011, working with 8 suppliers across Italy, Spain, Belgium and Chile.
In speciality fertilisers the easy business is moving boxes: ship the container in, put a Chinese label on it, hand it to a distributor.
We do the other thing. We read the parent company's logic behind each formulation, then reorganise it around Chinese crops, soils and growing systems. The same seaweed concentrate is a pre-bloom root dip on grapes, a post-transplant drip on tomatoes and, on citrus, a decision that depends on root activity and soil pH. Used the wrong way, a higher concentration buys nothing.
So the portfolio is arranged as a four-layer pyramid: base nutrition, absorption efficiency, nutrient transport and stress defence. Diagnose which layer the problem sits in first, then choose the formulation — instead of pouring four products into one tank.
That method is written up as 120 technical dossiers and 8 crop phenology tables, which is what this site is built on. They are working documents for sales staff, distributors and growers, not marketing collateral.
THE PYRAMID
The nutrition pyramid
Four layers are not four product categories. They are four diagnostic questions, and most field problems fall into one of them.
WHAT WE DO
Four concrete things
No claims about empowerment — only what can be delivered.
Sourcing & registration
Selecting parent-company formulations against Chinese registration requirements, with registration numbers, standards and technical indicators documented line by line.
Programme design
Breaking each crop into phenological stages and assigning a clear layer to each step — a programme, not a shopping list.
Field trials & follow-up
Small-plot validation in the main production regions, recording application method and observable indicators.
Channel & technical service
Training, samples and crop-nutrition testing for distributors and growers.
CONTACT
Based in Hangzhou
Import, registration, warehousing and technical service are coordinated here; field work is handled by regional agronomists.
NEXT SEASON
Start with the crop,
then talk business.
Tell us the crop, the region and the problem you are seeing. You will get a phenology table and a product combination — not a price list.
Tell us where you grow and what you grow — we start from the phenology table.
